Our Federal MPs, Ziad Aboultaif & Fayçal El-Khoury, Please Say Something, Anything!

we need MPs Ziad Aboultaif & Fayçal El-Khoury to listen to the suffering community members

Hussein Hoballah, Montreal

This very day, Lebanon is under a barbaric Israeli attack. Residential buildings have been stricken, hundreds of civilians have so far been martyred, scores have been wounded, and dozens of buildings have been destroyed…
We are aware of the Canadian government’s standpoint, which is influenced by Zionist propaganda. Pro-Israel advocates have been spreading fake news since the morning, claiming that Hezbollah “are copying the strategy of Hamas and trying to using Lebanese children as human shields to kill Israeli children…”  However, at this very sensitive time, we need MPs Ziad Aboultaif & Fayçal El-Khoury to rethink and listen to the suffering community members, who are heartbroken by the brutal, massive attack that the Lebanese villages and towns is now under…
What’s happening in Lebanon today is a test to our MPs, who say they represent us. They are supposed to make strong standpoints in support of our grieving motherland, Lebanon.
Mr Aboultaif, Mr El-Khoury, the Lebanese are being hideously massacred as the world watches and as the attackers claim that resistance fighters are using civilians as human shields… Say something that history will remember, and make an honourable standpoint… Stand against your parties’ deafening silence while atrocities are being committed against our families in Lebanon…

Last week, a Montrealer lost his parents, sister and sister’s children when Israel bombed their building in Dahyeh (Beirut’s Southern Suburb)… What’s happening is appalling and cannot be overlooked… Please say something, anything!
